SCHOLARSHIPS

ATTENTION ALL 2019 HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS.... UWI is once again having their annual welding competition. We want you to come and compete for SCHOLARSHIPS

(tuition waiver) and Supplies, also every student that competes we will wave their $100 registration fee.

1st Place - $10,000

2nd Place - $6,000

3rd Place - $2,000

4th Place - $1,000

5th Place - $1,000

Test will be performed on 3F (Vertical tee joint)

Top 5 will have a run off on 4F (O overheard tee joint)

6010 Root 7018 Weave Cap. Those who pass visual inspection by AWS Certified Welding Inspector Jonathan Humphrey will be subject to a break test and the opportunity to certify in accordance to AWS D1.1 for fillet welds.
